Delivery DriverWe are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering a wide variety of furniture, appliances, and other merchandise to customers. Deliveries may include washers, dryers, refrigerators, couches, desks, chairs, bedroom furniture, and other large or heavy items. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, comfortable with physical work, and committed to providing excellent customer service.Responsibilities:Safely load, secure, transport, and unload merchandiseDeliver furniture, appliances, and other items to residential and/or commercial customersHandle large and heavy merchandise carefully to prevent damageVerify delivery items before leaving the warehouse and upon arrivalFollow assigned delivery routes and schedulesAssist with moving items into the appropriate location for customersProvide professional and courteous customer service during deliveriesObtain required signatures or delivery confirmationsMaintain communication with the office regarding deliveries, delays, or customer concernsKeep the delivery vehicle clean and organizedComplete routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concernsFollow all company procedures and safe-driving practicesAssist with warehouse duties, loading, or unloading as neededRequirements:Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordReliable and dependable attendanceAbility to safely lift, carry, push, and move heavy itemsComfortable performing physical work throughout the dayAbility to work independently and as part of a delivery teamStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to follow directions, delivery schedules, and routesProfessional appearance and attitudePrevious delivery, moving, warehouse, furniture, or appliance experience is preferred but not requiredPhysical Requirements:This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing.
