Cara Cara is a women's ready-to-wear brand that blends the joyful spirit of travel with elevated, versatile wardrobe pieces designed for year-round wear. Founded by three women and based in New York City, Cara Cara is carried through its direct-to-consumer website and over 100 luxury boutiques and retailers, including Net-a-Porter, Neiman Marcus, Moda Operandi, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Revolve, Shopbop, and Farfetch. Role overview The Ecommerce Manager owns the day-to-day management of Cara Cara's ecommerce channel, with a primary focus on site merchandising and storefront execution. This role translates product, inventory, customer, and performance insights into a compelling and commercially effective online experience. Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce, the Manager also supports reporting, CRM execution, affiliate operations, and digital projects, partnering cross-functionally to bring business priorities to life. This role is based in New York City and works in person five days per week. Key responsibilities Own the day-to-day digital storefront across the homepage, navigation, search, collection pages, product sequencing and recommendations, and onsite content Use product performance, inventory, and customer behavior data to optimize product discovery, cross-selling, collection organization, and linking strategy Own execution and QA for launches, promotions, markdowns, and pre-orders in partnership with cross-functional team Reporting and performance analysis Analyze ecommerce performance across site, paid media, email, customer, and topline product data, drilling into underlying drivers to identify trends, evaluate launches, and recommend actions Own select recurring reporting and ad hoc analyses, ensuring outputs are accurate, clearly synthesized, and delivered on time Partner with the Director to investigate performance questions and translate findings into actions CRM and segmented sends Analyze campaign and flow performance and recommend optimizations Build customer segments based on purchase behavior, product affinity, location, and engagement to support targeted sends Affiliate program management Manage day-to-day affiliate marketing, including partner communication, recruitment, promotional support and reporting Evaluate partner performance and program quality, recommending actions to improve efficiency and incrementality Catalog and platform operations Own product setup in Shopify, ensuring accurate content, imagery, pricing, product data, and customer-facing details Use AI to automate workflows improving product data accuracy and execution efficiency Manage assigned portions of digital roadmap and coordinate resolution of site issues as needed Qualifications 3-5 years of progressive experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, or a related field within fashion, luxury, or another product-led consumer business Strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to translate findings into clear insights and actions Strong visual judgment and experience merchandising a brand-led ecommerce experience Hands-on experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and Triple Whale High attention to detail across product data, imagery, copy, links, segmentation, and customer-facing execution Strong project-management and cross-functional communication skills Comfort using AI, automation, and creating repeatable processes to improve accuracy and efficiency What we offer A PTO policy including vacation, sick and parental leaves 401(k) (employee funded) Pre-tax FSA and Commuter Benefits plans Cara Cara does not provide employment sponsorship.
